Yuanke Henghui irradiation accelerator industrial base is fully put into operation

      The first project of the transformation of scientific and technological achievements by the Atomic Energy Agency -- the No. 2 irradiation accelerator of the Irradiation Center of the Headquarters of Yuanke Henghui Technology Co., LTD., was officially put into operation, realizing the dual-station irradiation operation. This marks the full operation of Henghui industrial base of Yuanke, which effectively enhances the company's core competitiveness and the ability to achieve large-scale service operation.

      Yuanke Henghui Technology Co., Ltd. is an important platform for the industrialization of irradiation accelerator incubated by China Atomic Energy Institute, and also the first transformation project of scientific and technological achievements held by scientific and technological personnel in China National Nuclear Group. The company has set up an equipment production base, an irradiation operation center and irradiation technology research and development center in Yantai City, Shandong Province, with two accelerators at the same time to carry out irradiation services, irradiation sterilization capabilities. At the end of May this year, the radiation Operation Center No. 1 accelerator was put into operation.

      In early July, Xue Xiaogang, Secretary of the Party Committee of IAEA, led a team to investigate and supervise the former Ke Henghui irradiation accelerator project, and put forward relevant requirements of "building a model of industrial reform and scientific and technological achievements transformation based on the general pattern, high standards and strict requirements", which greatly stimulated the determination and enthusiasm of the institute's technical team and the company's management team to explore and innovate. After the investigation, in view of the actual operation of the former Ke Henghui 2 accelerator, the Comprehensive Institute of Nuclear Technology of China Atomic Energy Agency organized technical teams in vacuum, power and other related aspects to settle in the site of the base in time and work overtime to solve the key problems, and finally realized the simultaneous and stable operation of the two machines.

      In the future, IAEA will further cooperate with Yuanke Henghui Technology Co., LTD., take the production of the industrial base as a new starting point, strengthen strategic research, further accelerate the breakthrough of new technologies and new processes, accelerate the market development and other work, expand and strengthen the irradiation sterilization process, and continue to create a new model of cooperation in the transformation of scientific and technological achievements between the institute and enterprises.
